I Miss My Mother!
It's Valentine's Day! Happy Valentine's Day! On this day devoted to expressions of love, I think of my mother. The love she had for me was strong and true, but more than that, it endures. I still feel her love even though she departed this life almost five months ago. Let's talk about love on this Valentine's Day! What I have learned is that it extends beyond the grave and into eternity! Death can't stop it. In its pure and authentic form, true love is everlasting. Even though it seems like or may even feel like love fuels grief, I think love actually over powers it. When I get overcome with thoughts of my mother not being here (physically), I try to focus on the love that she has shown me for my entire life and the love that I showered on her as her caregiver.
